Why give money to a museum? Think of it as the stone you place in a river. Because thanks to your support, the Museum Plantin-Moretus can keep flowing, and sometimes take a new course. To continue inspiring people. And to ensure we never forget what this house meant to the world. What you give, and how you give it, doesn’t really matter. All support is welcome.

Voluntary donation
Small or large gesture: every donation is welcome. It not only enriches your own life, but also that of every member of the Plantin-Moretus family who once lived and worked here. Your contribution gives new shine to old pieces and allows new ones to complement the existing collection. In this way, both you and the printers’ family live on.
Your contribution goes to a special fund of the King Baudouin Foundation. Thanks to this collaboration, your donation is handled in a transparent, safe, and fiscally advantageous way.

- If you donate €500, you become a Silver Patron. Two people donating €1500 together may call themselves Golden Patrons.
- You will regularly receive information about acquisitions and restorations.
- You will get updates on important events and exhibitions.
Historical object
Who knows, you might have an object or document at home that links you to the Plantin-Moretus family. Think of a dusty book, an old print, a centuries-old artwork, a long-lost letter, or even an entire archive. How wonderful would it be to share it with curious visitors and historians? In doing so, you become forever connected to the museum and its past.

The curators will determine whether your object meets the legal, international, and internal criteria.
Inclusion in a will
No one truly wants to be forgotten, right? By including the museum in your will, you leave a lasting proof of your life. Your legacy creates opportunities to continue investing in historical research and to expand the collection with valuable artworks, documents, or publications.
