The Museum Plantin-Moretus is located in the centre of Antwerp. You can easily reach it on foot, by bicycle or by public transport.

By Velo (shared bikes to rent)

You find a Velo station on the Groenplaats, at the Modemuseum and at the Zuiderterras, all within walking distance of the museum. More on www.velo-antwerpen.be.

By public transport

Use the routeplanner of de Lijn to plan your trip by train, bus, premetro or tram.
The stops Groenplaats and Sint-Andries are close to the museum.

Or take DeWaterbus over the river Scheldt. The stop at Steenplein is at 500 meters from the Plantin-Moretus Museum.

By car

  • Follow signs for ‘Antwerpen-Centrum’
  • Then follow signs for ‘P-Groenplaats’
  • Parking is available at the Groenplaats, Brabo (Kammenstraat) and Scheldekaai Noord (Jordaenskaai) car parks
  • The nearest parking spaces for people with disabilities are on ‘de Oever’ in front of numbers 10 and 14 (two spaces) and on Sint-Jansvliet in front of number 3 (three spaces)
  • Or park at one of the P+R car parks on the city fringe. More information on www.slimnaarantwerpen.be.

PAY ATTENTION: remember that the entire city centre of Antwerp and Linkeroever (the Left Bank) are a low emission zone. Polluting vehicles may no longer enter the low emission zone. Check before coming to Antwerp whether your vehicle complies with the conditions for entry on www.slimnaarantwerpen.be/en/LEZ.
